Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, she honors her Italian heritage on her mother’s side and her Southern roots from her father by proudly describing herself as an Italian Hillbilly. She is a free spirit who wears bold colors, sparkling shoes, or feathers and fringe when the mood strikes her. She loves music and loves to dance; is an avid Elvis fan and mentions his name in every one of her novels to help keep his memory alive.
The heart and soul of her writing is inspired from the years she lived in her historical cottage with her children on Indian Rocks Beach and where she still feels its magic.
She presently lives in a wonderful golf community with her husband, Dave, and their rescue orange tabby cat, Sparky.
